16 Under -Team FLA was formed in 2003 and is managed by Melissa Gentile.  The 16 Under team has a tremendous national reputation and has qualified for ASA National Championships all four years in existence.  They are among the top 16 Under teams in the country.  If you are interested in playing for the 16U Team FLA, please contact Sherrie Allbritten at sfaball@aol.com.

Team FLA 16U will be having tryouts Saturday August 21st and Saturday Aug 28th from 9:00 am till 12 noon at Countryside fields in Clearwater. 

The Team FLA organization plays at a very high competitive level, they have qualified 7 out of 8 years for ASA Nationals and we are invited and attend several high exposure tournaments including Boulder Indy tourney, Chicago Demarini and Rising Stars.

As a Player: 
•NCAA Division I All American at the University of Michigan 
•Set the Single Season and Career Homerun Record at Michigan 
•Women's College World Series All Tournament Team Selection 
•Finalist for the NCAA Sports Women of the Year 
•Competed with the U.S. National Team for Five years 
•Member of the US Pan-American Team 
As a Coach: 
•Coached NCAA Division I softball for 5 years 
•Has mentored 18 Collegiate All Conference Selections, 7 All-Region selections and numerous High School All American selections 
•A featured speaker at Coaching and Player Camps around the country speaking to groups as large as 600 or more 
•Full time instructor for 5 years 
•Certifications: USA Softball Certified, NAYS Certified, PREPARE Certified, CPR/First Aid Certified and Full Criminal Background Check
